Great app!

Simply the best and its free!

Nice ! Just one thing…

As many of your user have only one gmail account, you should make the mail listing appear right when you click on the notification icone. It would save time and be much more efficient. Great app nevertheless !

Good!

Very good app, simple and efficient! Just missed portuguese language support.

Good, but could be better!

Great app, but you still need the browser for lots of things, like search and roll previous e-mails. MailTab has these features, so it shouldn’t be this hard to make it in Mia for Gmail. I really hope these suggestions come out in next update! The Preferences also could be more customizable.

Highly recommended!

There’s nothing much to say: It works exactly as advertised. Great!

Save Your Money

Google does not consider this a secure app for login, so why should I? Spend your money on an ice cream sandwich, you will get more value

Does its job and does it well (update)

Just started using this today. Runs as a small app in your menu bar. Supports Native Mac OS Mavericks Notifications. Yea!! Works much like the old “Google Notifier used to. Very useful if you use Safari or Firefox with Gmail. Would be greatly improved with a few features. 1) Remove the total unread message count in menu bar (please add as soon as possible) (Update Nov 3. Version 1.4 added this feature! Yea!!) 2) Run with no menu bar icon displayed 3) Choose browser to open email instead of system default. Updated-Oct 1, 2015 running Mac OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite) Just wanted to say that I am using ver 2.0.7 of "Mia for Gmail” and it is working very well. Several improvements have been made: you can now hide the email message count, the menu bar icon is still there but it is in monochrome and quite discreet, “Mia for Gmail” now has built in window to read and reply to email. This is a very useful feature. I fully endorse this application. If you used the use GMail Notifer, and even if you did’t, this is a very good program that is stable and does what it claims. Well worth the two bucks for the premium version. Also, I had a glitch a couple of versions ago. I emailed the developer and he got back to me quickly and resolved the issue. PS. Added bonus, support 2-Factor Gmail Authentication.

Finally

There are many similar apps, but I like this.

expectation

I like, but there is a problem. Not working when returning from sleep. I hope fix problem.

Pefect app!

finally the app I was looking for! Highly recommended!

Adds and pay

I have buy premium version 1.7. After that it ungrate to 2.x but not premium, so now I see adds. This is cool, take a money, and take it again!

Go to inbox does not work

I wanted this app to replace the Gmail Notififer from Google. I chose to purchase this one because it had a “go to inbox” feature. However, it does not work. Otherwise, it is pretty standard- not worth the the buck.

Needs a refresh after deleting an email.

The notifications stay on after you delete emails. Please make the app refresh after any type of action done.

Doesn’t work at all

Firefox reports an infinite redirect and won’t open even the main inbox. Support site is a joke

Works great

This application is simple and to the point. I love it. The layout of the inbox area is compact, but not so small as to be useless. The only critique I have is the new mail sound. It is simply a ”pop" which is not enough of an alert for me to hear; if there was an option to choose my own alert sound, this application would be perfect. Still, it is well worth the price.

Works very well

I’d like a choice of sounds to alert me. Other than that, it is very simple and works excellent. Throwing the option to access the calendar would be nice. Still, all in all, well worth it.

Notifier Pro for Gmail v. 1.3

Aug. 28, 2014 The first time I used this I immediately got an email from Google saying “We recently blocked a sign-in attempt to your Google Account”. Google gives you an option to change your settings to allow the app, but warns that if you do, “…your account is no longer protected by modern security standards”. It’s not worth fighting over $0.99, but it’s disappointing that this issue wasn’t addressed in the app description.

Pretty Good !

All in all, it does what I expected. Connects to gmail account, opens inbox w/ one click, functions well. The only hiccup I had was installation, required I set it up using gmail 2 step verify.. was a bit of a pain. Worth the buck though.

Decent

Was looking for a replacement for the official google notifier app. This one does the trick, except every time I try to add my account it adds 2 accounts with the same info to my list. Then when I try to remove one of the accounts it removes both. If they could fix that in the next rev it would solve all that I need.

Do One Thing Well

Notifier Pro doesn’t try to cram an email client into your status bar. Instead it does one thing well: notify you when emails have come in. If you’re looking for a simple, lightweight and elegant notification app for Gmail, this is it.
